Screw conveyor

Screw conveyor can be divided into shaft screw conveyor and shaftless screw conveyor two kinds in terms of convoying form, and can be divided into U screw conveyor and pipe screw conveyor in terms of shape. A screw conveyor with axis is suitable for dry powder materials and non sticky granule materials (such as cement, fly ash, lime, grain etc.) and screw conveyor without axis is fit for viscous and easy winding material (e.g., sludge, biomass and garbage etc.).

The surface type of the spiral blade welded on the rotating shaft of the screw conveyor has solid surface type, belt type surface, blade surface type and so on according to the conveying material. The screw shaft of the screw conveyor has a thrust bearing at the end of the material movement direction to screw the axial reaction with the material, and when the machine is long, the middle suspension bearing should be added.

The screw conveyor is widely used in various industries, such as building materials, chemical industry, electric power, metallurgy, coal, food and other industries, is suitable for horizontal or inclined conveying powdery, granular and small bulk materials, such as coal, ash, slag, cement, grain and other materials.The temperature is less than 20°C. Screw conveyor machine is not suitable for conveying perishable, viscous and easyly caking material.
